What is Memory Anchors?

Memory Anchors is a daily memory practice for marking what mattered. You choose up to five words or short phrases that hold the people, places, feelings and details you want to return to. Over time, those words become anchors that help you return to and relive the experiences that shape your life.

Why five?

Five is not random. Choosing five anchors forces you to distil your day, notice what mattered and name what stood out. Working memory can hold around seven things, so five gives you enough room to capture a day without trying to hold on to every detail.

What is an anchor?

An anchor is a word or short phrase that holds part of a day: a person, feeling, place, detail or turning point. You can add up to five each day, with up to three words in each.

What should I write?

Start with what stayed with you. There is no perfect entry. Simply notice what mattered, look for the specific details that no other day or time could possibly hold. The words aren't the memory, they're the keys that unlock it.

What is included with Free and Memory Anchors Pro?

Free gives you the core daily anchoring practice. Memory Anchors Pro adds photos, your full history and the ability to create shared spaces.

How do I manage my subscription or get help?

What does "memory wealth" mean?

Memory wealth is the value that builds when you notice and mark the experiences that shape your life. It is not about collecting entries. It is about building a life you (and others) can return to.

Why does the paperback delivery take a little longer?

Each copy is printed to order rather than held in bulk in a warehouse. This helps us avoid unnecessary surplus while keeping Memory Anchors independently published. It does mean a little more time between ordering and delivery. Your tracked delivery estimate is shown at checkout. We hope it’s worth the wait.

Is Memory Anchors available on Android?

Memory Anchors is currently available for iPhone. An Android version is planned for a later release.
